Presidential Monthly News Conferences…Will De Pa Keep Advisory Note No. 8?
We want to, most respectfully remind De Pa that the next session of his monthly news conferences is now due. We've been waiting for our mobile phones to ring throughout last weekend or a text message inviting us to ROUND TWO. But it would appear as if De Pa needs a gentle reminder. Well this is it sir.

WHEN De Pa BECOMES A PODA-PODA DRIVER FOR ONE DAY
We fell into a sound sleep a few days ago, partly because it's been raining heavily these days and also somehow we've been managing to eat some heavy meals thanks to generous remittances from our friends abroad. It so happened that after listening to the intriguing story of the Norwegian Prime Minister driving a taxi to test his popularity ahead of election next month, we saw De Pa in our dream undertaking the same exercise in a Poda Poda driving from Charlotte street in central Freetown to Lumley in the west.

KILLER ROADS AND BRIDGES – WILL PETITO NOW RESIGN?
Petito's counterparts in true democracies would have resigned by now following the unnecessary loss of life at King Jimmy. But, the last we heard about the man is that he was continuing to build his coalition and support base in preparation for his bid to replace De Pa at State House. De Pa is less than a year into his final term and already people like Petito are torn between performing their job as minister and actively campaigning to lead the Red Movement and give themselves a chance to fight for the top job.

SLFA "NORMALISATION COMMITTEE" TO SUCCEED CHIRISTIANA THORPE
The so-called Normalisation Committee and their allies in the SLFA secretariat went home last Saturday pleased that they finally pulled off the most fraudulent election anywhere on earth without much sweat. They have a long battle with their consciences to come, but for a few hours at least they were on cloud 9, telling their enemies that nobody comes to the leadership of the Football Association except by their consent.
